I Was Born In Gaza

Author: Mohammed Abdel latif Moussa

I Was Born In Gaza" is a flowing poetry book . It expresses the anguish and agony of living in an occupied country, the fears of wars, and the splendid devotion to women. To me, poetry is the flowing river of hope, serenity, and peace during war-times . So, I write poetically what I feel and suffer from . As an attempt to convey the beautiful and gloomy memories of my life to the rest of the world. On the other hand, hope was the ocean of inspiration that watered my poems. And perfumed the glamour of love and waiting. Thus, I hope to gift those poems to my family, friends, lovers, and every wonderful person on this earth. In the end, I hope to perfume the soul of hope through these poems.

His life in an occupied country and besieged city taught him to bear the injustice of occupation, bitterness of siege, and anguish of wars. Though, he drew the smiles of joy and tears of sorrow through a few poetic lines. To share his memorable experiences with the rest of the world. Moreover, these poems are the mirrors of his personal feelings as a young man, and reflections of his soul . On the other hand, he wrote most of these poems during wars.
